This bike weighs a ton (it feels like the frame is made out of cast iron) and it doesn't have components better than mountain bikes found in wal-mart for $100 or less. Example: hand grips are made out of hard plastic when they should have been soft rubber.

My wife picked this bike out online. She rode it once and decided it had to go.
If you want a decent mountain bike.
If you have experience assembling bicycles and setting up derailers.
Then this should be okay for you.

Personally I prefer a beach cruiser as does my wife.

I bought this bike for my girlfriend for Xmas. She has just started riding mountain bikes and I wanted to get her a bike that could some intermediate trails. Assembly was very easy and the bike did not need to much adjustment. I wish the back brakes were disc like the front, but oh well. The bike delivers good performance for its lower cost. The bike had a small scrape on frame from shipping and back reflector was destroyed. Everything else was OK.
